Rescue blankets, pencil on paper

Sissa Micheli's artistic interventions are based on the fusion of documentation and fiction, which is expressed primarily in photography, video and object art. For this exhibition, the artist has conceived an installation work, in the center of which she stages a mountain massif built of rescue foils, which reflects the light refracted on the reflecting surface. By means of a continuously rotating system, she succeeds in subjecting the vector time to a causal order, thereby testing the parallelism of individual observation and external conditions. Appropriately, water in a solid state of aggregation can be seen in the form of drawings. "Touching the void through mighty things" relativizes the relationship between mass and vacuum in prominent writing made of rhinestones on the wall and, in an extended view, cause and effect.
