Dual projection, HD 16:9, colour, sound, 5’24’’

The dual video projection refers to the last hours of Marie Antoinette and focuses on the topic of home as a trap. The psyche of a woman is shown from two different perspectives . In the background play uncanny sound surfaces and distorted baroque music of the royal court. The story comes to a turning point. In a symbolic act of liberation the protagonist — the artist herself during her stay in Paris — burns a paper model of the Place Royale, today's Place des Vosges, the epitom of French aristocracy.
