The film without the slightest noise provides the outlines of a woman completely withdrawn from her outside life and into her house. Three black and white scenes arranged side by side show the exterior of a house from different perspectives. The cameras revolve around the house and then approach it. However, it is more a descriptive, sober view, as opposed to a voyeuristic one. We gain no insight with regard to its interior, and we see no signs of people behind the curtains. A female voice describes the emotional state of the inhabitant, her confusions and fears, her love for her garden, for her house, and her withdrawal into its microcosm. As the woman closes one door after another the threat of becoming completely absorbed by her thoughts comes to the fore; the camera views are consequently reduced one by one, and are finally taken over by a black screen. The presentation of Sissa Micheli's single person cinema underlines and enforces the impression of isolation.
